Tina came recommended after we had been for a summer supper at friends and saw the transformation of their garden. She has a real skill in making the changes look both beautiful ,but also as if they were always meant to be there – like Michelangelo sculpting a slab of stone and bringing out the form hidden within!

Tina initially spent time in our garden understanding what was there and then working with us on a plan that fitted with our hopes for a place that would be a haven for bees and birds.

Tina worked incredibly hard during difficult circumstances (covid and heat) and the result is beautiful and will continue to develop with time. She also left us with a maintenance guide so that we can tend what is there and learn as we go along, but we are pleased she has also agreed to come back and help us manage it.

We approached Tina to bring some Summer colour into our essentially Spring garden.

Tina assessed the soil, noted all the sunny and shaded areas and then drew up plans according to our colour preferences. She spent several days clearing some of the beds, added the necessary soil improvers and did the back-breaking job of planting, all within the agreed timeframe.

We now have a wonderful display of colourful perennials throughout the garden and also a number of ferneries in the more shaded areas, which are proving to be a revelation to us.

We cannot fault Tina’s work ethic, she is very knowledgeable about her craft and has a determined and sunny disposition. We have no hesitation in recommending Tina for any aspect of landscaping or garden regeneration.

Tina was an absolute pleasure to have working in our garden, from the design process which she spent a great deal of time and effort listening to our ideas and then producing a very detailed plan and suggestions of flowers and plants but also taking great care to include our preferences too.

We then came to the planting which again was undertaken all as agreed and the quality of plants were excellent her attention to detail was fantastic which showed when our beautiful garden started to flourish.

We were also delighted when Tina agreed to come back to us on a regular basis to maintain the garden and again leaving it looking a picture.

Tina pitched against 2 other garden designers to create a garden for a unique setting. Our house is an almost entirely glass 'Huf Haus' wedged into the hillside of a woodland setting. Our brief was for a garden that would blend into the natural environment while having enough structure and formality to complement a modern home.
