Case Study Three
Italian Style inspired garden Chandler's Ford

The client brief was to design a new garden for this sunny south facing plot. The clients were in the process of renovating their complete house and required a new formal but modern garden to suit their interior.

Italian Inspired

The design incorporated a parterre which the clients could view from their balcony, and with an Italian inspired theme throughout, including formal topiary, and a wilder themed planting scheme throughout in purples, whites, yellows and pink tones.

The design agreed incorporated a double circle pathway theme with lower parterre hedging which enclosed planting which leads to a beautiful stone water fountain as a stunning focal point from the house and summerhouse. A circular metal edging system was installed with resin bound infil pathways.

A large porcelain patio area was installed level threshold to the existing house to obtain the inside/outside feel, and to catch the afternoon and evening sun.

The grasses and taller topiary trees throughout the design add structure and height.

Tina was an absolute pleasure to have working in our garden, from the design process which she spent a great deal of time and effort listening to our ideas and then producing a very detailed plan and suggestions of flowers and plants but also taking great care to include our preferences too.

We then came to the planting which again was undertaken all as agreed and the quality of plants were excellent her attention to detail was fantastic which showed when our beautiful garden started to flourish.
