Case Study OneLarge plot in Chandler's Ford – Circular Design
The client brief was a total new design for this sunny south facing wrap-around family garden mainly laid to lawn.
The design that was agreed incorporated interlocking circles throughout the whole scheme. An ecogrid system was installed with gravel infill, edged with corten steel metal edging with a large raised platform deck area for entertaining. A separate patio area was added to catch the last of the evening sun.
The plant colour scheme was based on the rusty corten steel edging to the lawn and deck, oranges and purples, with hues of browns. Wildflower turf was added to create a wildlife habitat.
The circular wooden moon gates add height and drama to the design, and entertaining spaces were added for large groups of people.
